Lovely rental in Cape May

Our third time renting in Cape May and we finally found the perfect house. The Roost is spacious and very comfortable. Two living areas, plenty of bedrooms AND bathrooms (a necessity for the shore). The deck is great and the backyard is beautiful and private. The kitchen is well stocked for everything you need to cook. Even a separate wine fridge! The Location is also terrific. Five minute drive to the Cape May Point beach and 5 minutes to the best restaurants and Washington Mall shopping. The owners are also very responsive. Perfect rental.

Beautiful spacious and ideally located home in Cape May

We loved our visit to the Roost II and can't wait to return next summer. It was super spacious and comfortable for our family of two parents, two young adults/teens and a grandma. Everything was spotless and as depicted in the photos. It was also ideally located - a reasonable walking, biking and driving distance to everything (including very short walks to excellent takeout places) but not right in the middle of the busy areas. It was a wonderful, zen quiet retreat. Gina is amazingly responsive and a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Perfect Beach vacation.

We couldn’t believe how wonderful the Roost ll was, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and so much room in the house. It’s very deceiving from the outside and then you walk into this very large open floor plan with 2 full living/family rooms and an enormous kitchen and dining area. The home is stocked with just about everything you can imagine. Plus you have a bedroom ensuite on the first floor and an additional bathroom for the family. Next 2 stair cases that lead to the second floor, the back stairs leads to a private side of the home but everything is attached and flows comfortably. Then you have 3 additional large bedrooms and 2 full baths on the 2nd floor. It’s really the perfect home for many families. Then you step out to a huge backyard that is an oasis and completely fenced in for privacy. You can even bring your furry friends along and they will thoroughly enjoy the vacation. You would never know this home is pet friendly because it’s immaculate. You really need to book your next stay here in Cape May, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfection!

The Roost is a perfect vacation home for any time of the year! Inside and out, the home is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. From the large living spaces, to the bedrooms spread out through the home, to the dining areas inside and on the deck, there is plenty of room either to gather together or have privacy when needed. The backyard is a beautiful sanctuary and includes a perfect outdoor shower! Not only is The Roost so accommodating and comfortable to be in, it is also in a perfect location - just far enough away from the hustle-and-bustle of Cape May, but close enough to anything you would want like shopping, restaurants, and beaches. This is the kind of beach home that you will want to return to again and again. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Cape May home base

We have stayed at The Roost several times over the past few years. It is comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly equipped for all of a family's needs. With bikes in the shed, a nice big TV, a fenced-in backyard, and the kitchen cookware and dishware to cook family-sized meals, it is a great home base from which to explore all that Cape May has to offer. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and there's enough room for everyone. I recommend it highly!

Spacious in a great location!

We have stayed at "The Roost" on several occasions and we love it! Don't be fooled by the quaint bungalow look from the front. The house extends to the back and the downstairs living space is open and spacious, and opens onto a charming garden for cooking and eating outdoors. There are four generous bedrooms with good beds. We loved the bakery and farm stands near the house, and the ability to walk into the center of CM within a few minutes. Perfect family vacation property for making memories.

A home away from home

Our stay at the house felt like a home away from home. It had some outdoor perks, such as off-street parking, a beautiful back deck, a private/fenced backyard, and an outdoor shower. The inside was comfy and stylish. The open floor plan allowed our familythe room to spread out and still feel connected for meals and games. The bedrooms were cozy and spacious. This home is in a fantastic location. It is a quiet neighborhood. Just a few blocks walk to a wonderful coffee shop, bakery, and yoga studio, and longer walk or bike ride to the heart of Cape May and the beach. I highly recommend this rental.

Loved our stay on this quiet street in West Cape May!

September in Cape May has always been our favorite. But this year we booked this spacious and adorable home in West Cape May. The house, the yard, the hot tub, the gardens were so beautiful and relaxing to enjoy. West Cape May is so quiet compared to Cape May city but it's close to all the beaches and amenities of Cape May and Cape May Point. We'll book this home again!

Wonderful Girl's Getaway

My mother, sister and I stayed at The Roost II for a girl's getaway to enjoy all Cape May has to offer and we cannot praise this home enough. The house is adorable, beautifully decorated, and very spacious inside with ample parking. We enjoyed coffee each morning in the backyard overlooking the gardens, and although we did not use it, there is a large hot tub and outdoor shower. The location is fantastic: within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a bit longer walk to the beach (though we drove). There is so much that Cape May has to offer and the host has detailed information and a helpful binder to answer any questions you may have. I cannot wait to have another stay at The Roost II soon!

The Perfect Retreat

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the Roost ll, the home is very beautiful and just very comfortable. You definitely feel as though you’re at home but in a a spectacular town with a fantastic location. You have 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, nobody has to wait to get ready. The home is tastefully decorated and it has a great open floor plan. So much room, it’s deceiving from the front and then you walk in and you can just can’t believe how many living spaces there are. It has 2 huge living/family rooms, the back yard is an oasis and very private. We took our pups, both of them because they are well behaved and they really enjoyed the fenced in yard. I can’t say enough about this home, we will definitely be back and Gina the owner actually suggested great restaurants and things to do in Cape May. One last important feature is the 1st floor bedroom and bathroom suite. Great for bringing your parents or someone who has a hard time with stairs, my mother in law is in a wheelchair and she never felt claustrophobic in the house and with the downstairs open floor pkan she had tons of space to move around in..

WEST CAPE MAY GETAWAY

FROM THE OUTSIDE YOU'D NEVER BELIEVE THE SPACE THAT IS INSIDE. THIS PLACE IS ENORMOUS, BUT NOT SO BIG YOU LOSE ANYONE. IT GIVES ENOUGH ROOM, THAT EVERYONE CAN HAVE THEIR OWN SPACE, BUT THE COMMON AREAS ARE VERY SPECIAL AND ALLOW LOTS OF GATHERING WITHOUT CROWDING. IT IS WELL-KEPT AND EXTREMELY WELL-APPOINTED WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE A FRET-FREE WEEK OR WEEKEND. ALL APPLIANCES WORK, KITCHEN AMENITIES ARE CLEAN AND UP TO SPEC. THE ENTIRE PLACE IS CLEAN AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF, AND IT'S BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DELIGHTFUL SPACE TO SPEND AT THE JERSEY SHORE, THIS IS IT. I HAD A SPLENDID TIME IN THIS WONDERFUL GETAWAY. THESE OWNERS HAVE MADE THEIR HOME A COMFORTING PLACE FOR YOU TO CALL HOME DURING YOUR VACATION.
