Surrounded by tree lined streets and Victorian architecture, Marlin House is next door to the Emlen Physick Estate, offering year round events like craft shows, festivals, and historic tours truly the perfect spot to immerse yourself in Cape May's history.
The home features six large bedrooms (2 Kings, 3 Queens, 1 with 4 singles) plus a Murphy Chest Queen bed in the living room, four full bathrooms, dual-zone central AC, high-speed internet, and Roku/Sling TVs in all bedrooms and the family room. The first floor offers a spacious entrance hall, living room with gas fireplace, dining room seating 14, a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, dishwasher, French door refrigerator, and breakfast bar, plus a family room and sunroom with garden views.
The second floor includes an extra large master with walk in closet, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi, three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and laundry. The lower level offers a Queen bedroom, a larger bedroom with three singles and a trundle, plus a full bath.
Enjoy two front porches, a private rear patio with seating for 12, grill, and enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower. Parking includes space for 4 cars, garage for bikes/beach gear, and EV charging. A beach box at Jefferson Beach and 10 commercial beach tags are provided.
Pet-friendly: One dog under 40 lbs over 2 years old ($250 fee). Yard is not fenced.

We were fortunate to rent the Marlin House for our 2020 Thanksgiving family vacation. Our visit was extra special since we had not seen our family in 11 months. The house and property exceeded my expectations. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. The house is beautiful, spacious, and well equipped and is located in the historic heart of Cape May. The house is located next door to the Emlen Physick Estate on historic Washington Street, convenient for all the main attractions in Cape May. It is also a close walk to the beach. The house is impeccably maintained, well-furnished, and was very clean. The owners gifted us with a bottle of wine and a jar of local honey. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their home and it is a welcoming place to stay. Perfect Gift

Lovely house
We had a wonderful time at the Marlin House. The house was clean, tastefully decorated, and was well stocked with kitchen supplies, board games, and everything we needed to have a great vacation. My only complaint is that the lawn was quite long and the mosquitos were horrendous, although I know there is not much that can be done about that.
