Walk along the shoreline with a Nature Center Naturalist and discover the fascinating ecology and life history of the Horseshoe Crab. As you explore, you’ll have the chance to help this important keystone species by gently flipping overturned crabs back onto their feet.

 

Along the way, hear the remarkable story of the Red Knot—an endangered shorebird affectionately known as the “Moon Bird” for its incredible long-distance migrations.

Pre-Registration is required.  Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.  Please bring a flashlight, wear waterproof shoes and dress for the weather.
