    Historic Cold Spring Village Starts: 11:00AM | Ends: 3:00PM

    Ahoy, matey! Celebrate the maritime history and culture of the famous Jersey Cape.This event will feature pirates, music, and family fun. Pillage the Village Treasure Hunt! Children should be on the lookout for gold coins hidden throughout the Village that can be redeemed for a free prize! Clan of the Raven will be sharing their love for the Viking Age and Norse Culture. Pirates of Fortune’s Folly will entertain and educate all the young powder monkeys! Come young and old, salty, and bold to hear of the thrilling tale of the Tragical Death of Captain Kidd the Pyrate! Prepare to laugh, gasp, and gape in amazement as Bully Billy tells tales of the Sea! Performances by Shades of Our Past! That’s edutainment folks! Jolly Shore Leave will be on deck both days to entertain all you landlubbers! The Sea Dogs Maritime Band, an authentic reenactment crew, will perform their sea shanties on both days at the Village Gazebo. Pirate Pete’s Soda Pop Co. will be dropping anchor to provide the best in handmade artisanal sodas.

    Celebration of WCM’s first farmers.   Native dancers, singers, crafts, storytelling, food, fun for the entire family.   Learn about the “Three Sisters – Corn, Bean, Squash”, dance in the circle, and more.  Event every year 3rd weekend in August when the corn is ripe month, Winaminke.  All are welcome – Temike!
