    Through a child’s perspective, Waves of Independence unfolds the story of how ripples of dissent grew into rolling waves calling to our Founding Fathers to sign the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This book celebrates the 250th anniversary of that milestone and the role that Cape May played in leading to the historical event.

    Rotary Park Starts: 7:00PM

    Enjoy an evening of free, live music in Rotary Park, just off the mall.  Bring a beach chair or blanket as seating is limited.  Come early and stay late!  Enjoy shopping, dining and more on the mall before or after enjoying the concert.  

  • Lighthouse Full Moon Climb

    Cape May Lighthouse Starts: 8:00PM | Ends: 10:00PM

    Follow the light of the full moon during this rare nighttime climb to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse. Your reward for climbing the 199 stairs to the top is the unforgettable views of the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean all aglow from the light of the full moon. Since it opened to the public in 1988, more than 2.5 million visitors have climbed to the top, but far fewer have climbed at nighttime.
