Within walking distance of town, Park Place is bright and cheery with spacious living areas. Relax on the rockers on the wrap-around porch and watch the world go by. Adjacent to the entry room is the living room with flat screen TV mounted over the fireplace and lots of comfy furniture. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and additional counter seating for 4. You will feel right at home in the modern kitchen with lots of counter space for meal preparations. Enjoy the great outdoors from the back deck or use it as an overflow area for guests while entertaining. Upstairs is the master bedroom and bath, including a walk in shower, Jacuzzi tub and double sinks. Three more bedrooms are provided to sleep up to 8 people, and an upstairs bath with tub and shower. Eat in or take out pizza and cheese shops are located just across the street at the plaza, with a nice walk to miniature golf and ice cream located on Jackson Street.
This was my family's third year vacationing in Cape May, our fifth year at the Jersey Shore. We have stayed at this home two years in a row now, which we have never done before. One is always curious to see if the first year is just a fluke, but we were happily disappointed! This home is so wonderfully maintained and provides a truly relaxing home away from home. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because my dislikes about this rental are so minor. The four bedrooms entail a GIANT master bedroom (complete with separate huge bathroom and massive walk-in closet), a good-sized bedroom that holds two twin beds, and then two small bedrooms that each hold queen beds with just enough space to walk around the bed. I'm sure there are families that rent for more than just one week, but I don't know who utilizes a walk-in closet while they're on vacation. We actually used it as a sort of nursery for our infant the one year. My mother in-law is getting older and the walk to the beach (just under a mile) is a little too much for her. I would definitely recommend biking it to the beach. Other than those things, this place has it all. It is beautiful, spacious, and modern - yet very cozy. I love that there is a den area, with a TV and fireplace, and then a larger living room in the front of the house. It allowed our children to have an area to play without the adults having to step over their toys and things. The porch wraps around a bit, and there is a great deck and grill out back. It's a truly great place. I'm only sad that the bedroom layouts will no longer accommodate our growing family! :/
