  • Cape May Point 5 Mile & 2 Mile Run

    Cape May Point Starts: 8:15AM

    The 42nd Annual Cape May Point Five Mile Run will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022. The 2 Mile Run starts at 8:15 AM. The 5 Mile Run is at 9:00 AM. Registration is at the Cape May Point Fire House on Yale Avenue (see Course Map for location). Registration can be by mail or in person on Friday night, June 17th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM $35. Registration on Race day starts at 7:30 AM $40. Receive a complimentary t-shirt with registration. Enjoy post race beverages with support from Bucket Brigade Brewery and Nauti Spirits Distillery.

  • Back Bay Birding by Boat on the Osprey

    Join Captain Bob and the crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37′ pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible.   • Military Timeline Weekend at Cold Spring Village

    Historic Cold Spring Village | Starts: 11:00AM | Ends: 4:00PM

    Are you interested in the Revolutionary War, Civil War or World War II? Would you like to learn about the weaponry and tactics used by the British infantry in the Victorian Era? Or maybe you are just a history buff who loves it all! This event will feature encampments, weaponry displays and demonstrations from living history groups that depict various conflicts through the centuries.

    Military Timeline is the traditional kickoff for Historic Cold Spring Village’s annual summer event season.

    Costumed re-enactors set up camp around the Village and demonstrate the life and equipment used by military personnel throughout history. 

  • Double Play at Cape May Stage - Matinee

    Featuring back-to-back one act plays, “Double Play” starts with an exploration of the life of one of America’s most iconic baseball players in the new play “Becoming Satchel Paige”. After the seventh inning stretch, we present “Happy”, about a baseball fan who travels to Delray Beach to find “Happy” Haliday, a favorite baseball player from his youth, and to get his signature on a baseball…but what he really gets from “Happy” is priceless.

    In 2011, Suzanne Dawson first performed this famous monologue in ELTC's world premiere The World of Dorothy Parker, created by Gayle Stahlhuth.  Suzanne will be performing her favorite Parker monologues, stories, and poems, including "A Telephone Call."
