    Trucksess Welcome Center 1600 Delaware Ave, Cape May Starts: 10:30AM | Ends: 12:00PM

    Help pull a seine net through the Cape May Harbor to see first-hand what creatures inhabit the waters. Encounter an incredible diversity of marine life as you help pull a twenty-foot seine net through the shallows of Cape May Harbor. You will learn about the ecology of our coastal waters, and about the fascinating and ancient Horseshoe Crab. A great family outing! Pre-registration is required $10 adults, $5 children ages 3-12, children under 3 free. Limited to groups of up to 20 participants. Children may not participate without an adult.  We meet 5-10 minutes prior to your program time at the picnic tables in front of the Trucksess Welcome Center at 1600 Delaware Avenue. We may walk up to 1.5 miles, over generally level, sometimes muddy or sandy terrain. Some trips involve walks over rocky and sandy area. Please bring necessary footwear, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, and other belongings with you that you may need. Restrooms will be available to the public 30 minutes before and after the program.

  • John Walter Community Band Concert

    Enjoy a free indoor evening concert with the John Walter concert band, hosted by St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Cape May. Get your toes tapping and your hands clapping as the community concert band for Cape May County takes you to the movies! We are performing an exciting mix of movie soundtracks along with marches and patriotic music used in popular movies that is sure to entertain audiences of all ages. There will be plenty of seats in a climate-controlled room for anyone interested in hearing live music on this Tuesday night. Also, the band is collecting non-perishable food items to benefit local area food banks and shelters.
