The Sixties Show at Cape May Convention Hall

This popular theater show is a cross generational crowd pleaser. This is a high energy trip back in time that reminds the audience how uniquely inspirational, entertaining, and historically significant the music and events of the 1960’s was and continues to be.

West Cape May Farmers Market

By popular demand, the market will once again run a full ten weeks, every Tuesday beginning June 28 through August 30, 2022, between 3:00pm and 7:30pm. The market is located at the West Cape May Municipal Complex at the Backyard Park, 732 Broadway. We look forward to another bountiful season!  Rain or shine, the Market will be open! The Market features not only fresh produce and herbs, but, among others, purveyors of antiques; live art demonstrations; fresh coffee; barbecue, seafood and kettle corn.

Harbor Safari

Help pull a seine net through the Cape May Harbor to see first-hand what creatures inhabit the waters. Encounter an incredible diversity of marine life as you help pull a twenty-foot seine net through the shallows of Cape May Harbor. You will learn about the ecology of our coastal waters, and about the fascinating and ancient Horseshoe Crab. A great family outing! Pre-registration is required $10 adults, $5 children ages 3-12, children under 3 free. Limited to groups of up to 20 participants. Children may not participate without an adult.

We meet 5-10 minutes prior to your program time at the picnic tables in front of the Trucksess Welcome Center at 1600 Delaware Avenue. We may walk up to 1.5 miles, over generally level, sometimes muddy or sandy terrain. Some trips involve walks over rocky and sandy area. Please bring necessary footwear, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, and other belongings with you that you may need. Restrooms will be available to the public 30 minutes before and after the program. 

Birds Before Beach

Join Cape May Bird Observatory naturalists for this free walk at the Cape May Point State Park!  Did you know that Cape May is one of the best places on the planet to watch birds? Join us for a free one-hour exploration of Cape May’s bird life. Loaner binoculars are available. Family-friendly. Preregistration Required. Cost: We bird in all weather. Be sure to check the forecast in advance and dress in layers appropriate for prevailing weather conditions. We may walk up to 1.5 miles, over generally level, sometimes muddy or sandy terrain. Some trips involve walks over jetties.
