The Summer is nearly over…but not quite yet!

It’s hard to believe that Summer 2019 is almost over!  Most of the kids are back to school, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. You should definitely take advantage of the last days of summer and contact our rental department to find out what discounts the owners are offering this time of the year. We still have plenty of options for you if you are planning to come for a full week or even a fun weekend getaway! You can check our inventory HERE.

Around town there are plenty of events going on. Below we have listed a few for you to add to your calendar.

On Saturday, August 25th, The Bastard Sons of Captain Mey, one of the best local bands are playing at Harry’s Grille on the rooftop bar from 4-8pm. It’s the best view in town, and BSCM are excellent! On the same night from 6-9pm. The Squares (fronted by our own Debra Donahue) are playing at the newest hotspot in the area, Nauti Spirits Distillery on Shunpike Road in North Cape May. Nauti serves amazing concoctions using their home-grown and distilled, award-winning vodka, rum, and gin.

If you would like to see a play instead, Cape May Stage presents ” The Lion in Winter” and East Lynne Theater Company presents ” Arsenic and Old Lace”. On Sunday, Convention Hall hosts a Free Nature Wildlife Show, a fun event for the entire family and kids of all ages.

For the remaining of August until September 9th, SOMA NewArt Gallery features daily a joint exhibition by two great local artists: Victor Grasso and Adam Wallacavage. It’s an exhibition that you should not miss!

On Monday, August 27th, you can exercise your artistic talent at Willow Creek Winery during their fun Paint Night. Classes are $55 and includes one glass of wine or sangria and all art supplies.

On Thursday, August 30th, grab a beach chair and a blanket and enjoy The Peanuts Movie on the beach next to Cape May Convention Hall at 8:30 pm. If the weather is inclement, head inside convention hall to see it. This will be the last movie of the 2018 lineup.

On Saturday, September 1st and Sunday, September 2nd, take a stroll on the Promenade for the Summer Send-Off craft show. You will have the opportunity to get a unique gift made by local artisans for someone special, or maybe for yourself.
