The most popular shopping destination in Cape May is the Washington Street Mall - a must see for local shopping. Closed off to vehicle traffic the three block mall is lined with distinctive retail shops and restaurants emanating old world charm. The pedestrian mall is always meticulously maintained and festively adorned for the season. Also a busy hub of activity, you can also get Cape May info at the Towne Crier on the mall, or even purchase tickets for a Cape May tour at the MAC booth.

Once you've strolled the mall, branch out to Washington Commons, the shops adjoining the Acme plaza. Off the beaten path our seaside town offers many other unique shops throughout town with which to browse, such as the West End Garage. A five minute stroll from the mall on Perry Street the West End Garage is an entire market featuring shops and stalls with local art exhibits, antiques, collectibles, crafts, and fresh, locally produced food specialties.

You'll also find shops on the Cape May Promenade along the beachfront and across the street. Jersey fresh produce abounds at the West Cape May Farmer's Market on Tuesday evenings in the summer as well as roadside stands such as our own Duckie's on Broadway.
