Perfection!
The Roost is a perfect vacation home for any time of the year! Inside and out, the home is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. From the large living spaces, to the bedrooms spread out through the home, to the dining areas inside and on the deck, there is plenty of room either to gather together or have privacy when needed. The backyard is a beautiful sanctuary and includes a perfect outdoor shower! Not only is The Roost so accommodating and comfortable to be in, it is also in a perfect location - just far enough away from the hustle-and-bustle of Cape May, but close enough to anything you would want like shopping, restaurants, and beaches. This is the kind of beach home that you will want to return to again and again. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Cape May home base
We have stayed at The Roost several times over the past few years. It is comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly equipped for all of a family's needs. With bikes in the shed, a nice big TV, a fenced-in backyard, and the kitchen cookware and dishware to cook family-sized meals, it is a great home base from which to explore all that Cape May has to offer. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and there's enough room for everyone. I recommend it highly!

Spacious in a great location!
We have stayed at "The Roost" on several occasions and we love it! Don't be fooled by the quaint bungalow look from the front. The house extends to the back and the downstairs living space is open and spacious, and opens onto a charming garden for cooking and eating outdoors. There are four generous bedrooms with good beds. We loved the bakery and farm stands near the house, and the ability to walk into the center of CM within a few minutes. Perfect family vacation property for making memories.

A home away from home
Our stay at the house felt like a home away from home. It had some outdoor perks, such as off-street parking, a beautiful back deck, a private/fenced backyard, and an outdoor shower. The inside was comfy and stylish. The open floor plan allowed our familythe room to spread out and still feel connected for meals and games. The bedrooms were cozy and spacious. This home is in a fantastic location. It is a quiet neighborhood. Just a few blocks walk to a wonderful coffee shop, bakery, and yoga studio, and longer walk or bike ride to the heart of Cape May and the beach. I highly recommend this rental.

Loved our stay on this quiet street in West Cape May!
September in Cape May has always been our favorite. But this year we booked this spacious and adorable home in West Cape May. The house, the yard, the hot tub, the gardens were so beautiful and relaxing to enjoy. West Cape May is so quiet compared to Cape May city but it's close to all the beaches and amenities of Cape May and Cape May Point. We'll book this home again!

Wonderful Girl's Getaway
My mother, sister and I stayed at The Roost II for a girl's getaway to enjoy all Cape May has to offer and we cannot praise this home enough. The house is adorable, beautifully decorated, and very spacious inside with ample parking. We enjoyed coffee each morning in the backyard overlooking the gardens, and although we did not use it, there is a large hot tub and outdoor shower. The location is fantastic: within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a bit longer walk to the beach (though we drove). There is so much that Cape May has to offer and the host has detailed information and a helpful binder to answer any questions you may have. I cannot wait to have another stay at The Roost II soon!

WEST CAPE MAY GETAWAY
FROM THE OUTSIDE YOU'D NEVER BELIEVE THE SPACE THAT IS INSIDE. THIS PLACE IS ENORMOUS, BUT NOT SO BIG YOU LOSE ANYONE. IT GIVES ENOUGH ROOM, THAT EVERYONE CAN HAVE THEIR OWN SPACE, BUT THE COMMON AREAS ARE VERY SPECIAL AND ALLOW LOTS OF GATHERING WITHOUT CROWDING. IT IS WELL-KEPT AND EXTREMELY WELL-APPOINTED WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE A FRET-FREE WEEK OR WEEKEND. ALL APPLIANCES WORK, KITCHEN AMENITIES ARE CLEAN AND UP TO SPEC. THE ENTIRE PLACE IS CLEAN AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF, AND IT'S BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DELIGHTFUL SPACE TO SPEND AT THE JERSEY SHORE, THIS IS IT. I HAD A SPLENDID TIME IN THIS WONDERFUL GETAWAY. THESE OWNERS HAVE MADE THEIR HOME A COMFORTING PLACE FOR YOU TO CALL HOME DURING YOUR VACATION.
