Easier Way to Find Vacation Rentals

       How many times have you searched for a vacation rental and finally said, "There has to be an easier way!"? Through your input in our Guest Surveys we've made some changes to help make your decision easier. We offer you more ways to find your perfect vacation rental, more ways to pay for your vacation rental, and more devices to find your rental home. HomeStead = More Value!

View Our Entire Inventory

      Some guests have protested that we removed the option to view our inventory of rental homes. Actually, the option was always there, but maybe not as clear as it could have been, so we made some changes. When the HomeStead home page now opens up in your browser, you'll see "View All" added to all the location buttons. So if you click on the View All Cape May/W. Cape May, it will bring up our entire inventory of Cape May and W. Cape May Homes. The same is true for Cape May Point, Offshore/Bayside homes, and Pet Friendly homes.
      However, if you only require a 3 bedroom unit and you don't want to see the entire collection of 5 and 1-2 bedroom units, you can easily click on "Search 3-4 Bedrooms" on the Cape May bar to see all homes in the 3 bedroom category. The buttons are now a burgundy red for easier detection.
      In the eastern United States, 'Cape' American beachgrass is widely used to stabilize dunes that protect our coastal communities. Cape American Beachgrass is specially selected for its vigorous growth which enables it to withstand heavy deposits of sand.
      Once you've run through all the 3 bedroom vacation rentals and maybe Uncle Harry, Aunt Mae, and their two kids have decided they want to stay with you so you have to start your search again with the 5 bedroom places, just go up to the blue navigation bar and click on Browse Vacation Rentals. It will take you back to the home page for your 5 bedroom search.

More Payment Options

       You've finally found a rental that has something for everyone, and we've added payment options for you. The only agency on the Cape May island accepting Visa and MasterCard, HomeStead now also brings you the option of using your Discover Card or ACH, which is electronic checking debits. You'll find our credit card logos just underneath the quick links to Cape/W. Cape May, Cape May Point, Offshore/Bayside and Pet Friendly links.

                                

Walk Score

      What is a Walk Score? The Walk Score is a new feature added to the Maps & Attractions section of the property. We offer a standard map of the home and its proximity to the beach and other attractions. The Walk Score is an additional map that calculates the walking score from 0 - 100. It lists shopping and dining destinations and how far they are from the rental unit. It's pretty cool, especially for Cape May which is virtually walkable from just about anywhere for shopping or dining. Just click on Maps & Attractions to see the Walk Score.

Mobile Site for Cape May Rentals

       You now have the added option to view our website through a user friendly interface when using a mobile device. Our regular website recognizes your mobile unit and automatically refers you to the mobile site. If you go directly into our mobile site via www.CapeMayRentals.mobi you will still have the option to view our full website.
